Linux ASP 2 window maximises to wrong display

Just upgraded from ASP 1 to v2, and immediately run into a problem with the window maximising to the wrong display.

Is there any way to force it to maximise to a specific display? ASP 1 used to expand to the display which it was not-minimised on - however ASP 2 also pings back to the same (and undesirale) display on the system.

As a temporary work around I have manually expanded the window until it fills the screen, then pushed the new top (and somewhat ugly) ASP menu bar off the top of the page - but I have to do this each time I start the application, its less than desirable!

For information, the system is:

Ubuntu 12.04
2 x 30" displays
Intel i7 2600K, 32GB RAM
nVidia 780Ti
