smart carver X5

I am trying to use, for the !st time, smart carver.The only way to access it that i have found so far is to go help-getting started-smart carver.When I get to the getting started box and click learn more, that opens up Video Studio 7.Can any one tell me what I should be doing and where and how I get info on how to use it

Ken - go to Image --> Smart Carver. It will launch the smart carver and give you a Getting started page.

Thanks for the reply Kathy. I am getting closer but not there yet. Here is my workflow
1 Open image in workspace
2 Image---Smart Carver. Get Started Box opens
3 Click on “learn more”----Video Studio opens
4 Close box
5 Image opens in Smart Carver. If I click on “help”, Video Studio opens
6 Click on object removal—adjust brush size
7 Paint over object to remove
8 Click on contract image horizontally
9 Close by remaining area is distorted
10 Ok
11 Shows in workspace
At item 3 or help in item 5 , different image sources were used. I have no idea why VS opens when I am trying to get help but obviously it is of no use to me.

I'm not sure why Video Studio opens either. It must think it is default for that type of action. When I do your number 3 and 5, Firefox opens the Help File in a new tab.

I've never been a fan of Smart Carver or found any real benefit for it in my workflow. I have better luck with cloning and of course in X7 there is smart fill which utilizes Inpaint technology.
