At this stage it is only a suspicion, but has anyone else noticed that Crop Settings don't seem to be remembered from one image to the next?
I haven't investigated carefully but I often find the rectangle is small and labelled 'Free form'...

Re: X7.1 Remembering Crop Settings
Just tested :
Loaded 10 images .
Used a preset for 675 x 900 pixels which was in proportion to an old camera format size.
Adjusted and cropped an minimised to bottom,
Next image showed "Last Applied" and kept that for the 10 images .
It also kept the same relative position for each of the images eg bottom left, botttom right etc.
If I loaded the images with the crop tool still active from the previous set then all images had the crop position in the same position even if I moved it to a different position and applied that eg top right. The next image revereted to bottom left.
So if you want the crop position to stay where you placed t for the previous image you must make the crop tool inactive when you load the images.
All done on XP with 32 bit X7
