How to display a rolling route on a moving map

Post by Ken Veal »

I have Pro X7.
My latest project is of a record of a “circular” tour of the country. Before moving on to a new location, I have been showing the route to the next place via a moving line created in Painter Creator but shown on a still image of a map.
For the complete itinerary, I want to create a moving line on a rolling map so as to show the whole journey and the stopping places. (With, perhaps a small symbol/image showing the reason for the stop-e.g. a bed , scene or castle etc) .The idea behind the rolling map is to be able to show in more detail of the location’s position in relation to the country as a whole as we travelled north and then back down south to finish.
Can this be done in X7(also have Paint Shop PRoX5), if so what is the best way.
........Ken
