Aftershot Pro 2.1.0.40 & Sony RX100 II

Post by The Doc »

Hi

There seems to be bug with version 2.1.0.40 when converting Sony RX100 ver II images. About 5% of the time there is line mostly across the middle of the image, due to a defective conversion. Anyone else seeing this?

The attached file has it in two places, look at the trees.

regards

Michael

No as it still occurs, even if I remove sharpening in Aftershot.

Sharpening on, full size jpg, no problems.

No problem with no sharpening and full size as well.

So issue seems to be about resizing.

It is the combination of resize and USM in the queue.
Development has already been notified.

I just went through the trouble of diagnosing and writing this up as well.

Banding traced down to sharpening in a batch, same camera, visible here: http://test.diff.net/3private/asp64_lin ... 09_std.jpg
http://test.diff.net/3private/asp64_linux_bug_report_2/

Between this and the deadlock I reported on Oct 3 (http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=94&t=54763), getting kind of frustrated.

That is not banding, it is a tile artifact. Should be fixed in the next release.
