No, Object, Frame, or Flash Animations in Ultimate X7

Post by jpmorgan49 »

Hi,
I recently upgraded my VideoStudio from X4 to Ultimate X7. So far I really like the upgrade but I'm puzzled. When I go to the "Graphic" button in Edit mode I just have color and no Object, Frame or Flash Animation. I know it's supposed to be there because it's in the User Manual. I went back and checked the two disks and I believe I installed everything. Does anyone know what may be wrong? Thanks in advance.

Sorry JP just have to check - when you get to the color library are you clicking on the little down arrow to open the rest of the options.

Yes, I clicked each category and they are blank. I can probably import my X4 Flash animation but I imagine the X7 would be better. I've even searched my drive and can't seem to find any .swf files except from X4. Maybe I should try and reinstall???

Thanks Ken, it's funny that they still have a Flash Animation category, I guess that's for importing. I also see that they still say you can add a Flash Animation in the X7 User Manual, I guess that's where I'm confused. Thanks.

Sorry -- I deleted my earlier message as it was incorrect about no longer providing swf samples. I don't think they provide WebM samples, but in my X7 the swf samples are found in Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio X7 Ultimate\Samples\Video...

Hi jp

When you upgraded to X7 did you install the program downloaded after purchase or activated the trial version. :?:

The full program file should be approximately 2Gb, with a similar name to (VSX7_Ultimate_PF_x64.exe)

A second file named VSX7_Ultimate_Bonus_x64.exe, will install the ultimate package, proDad etc ( 1.48 Gb)

I decided to buy the "Disk" Version instead of downloading. I did not have a trial version on the computer. I loaded both Disk #1 (64-bit version) and Disk #2 The Ultimate extras. Ken told me where the objects that were missing were located so I just imported them.
