I have been trying to access the help file and search for updates of VSX6 from the Corel Guide. The pages are not found. "Go to the Home page" is the message which I have followed. Did the update thing from there, but, can't find the help page for VSX6.
I would like to have the links working when I open the Guide so, I can just work in the window, instead of launching another browser window to go to the Corel site.
How can I get the new urls for the links changed in VS so I can just use the guide instead of searching the Corel site?

Hi Carroll
Yes indeed pressing F1 should access the help files but the link does seem to be broken, I don’t know why that is happening

You will also find the guide on your computer here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X6\UserGuide
If the guide you view on line is different and the one you like to use simply save the guide, file Save As, this will save as a PDF on your PC

Re: VideoStudio X6 Help, update, etc links not working
Thank you for the help lata. I see it was just a matter of thinking where the help files are on my computer. They are always in a program's folder. I guess I was tuned in to the internet where I had always accessed them before, never thinking of my program files. I apologize for my forgetfulness.
Even with the help files found, I still can't find out where or how to access spell check, of all things. Adobe reader doesn't have a search box. I have used the alphabet index, but, nothing shows up. Something seemingly so simple and I can't capture it.
Please tell me how I get to spell check.

Hi Carroll,
If you mean a spell check facility within VSX7, ie: to check spelling of text, then I don't believe that is an available function and to be honest, I have not noticed such a facility with my other NLEs

That would explain why I can't find it. I was sure I had used it before, but, must have been another of those &^^%$ Senior moments.RobertOZ wrote:Hi Carroll,

Re: VideoStudio X6 Help, update, etc links not working
Hi Carroll
I use word or notepad to construct/write my text where spell check is available.
Then copy and paste the text.
Ctrl+A to select all
Ctrl+C to copy
Ctrl+V to paste
I also use that when replying to posts, not that I am a bad speller, but the fingers sometimes hit the wromg keys…

The keys keep dodging your fingers as you're trying to hit them is what I have found. Anyway I have started using CWPx3 as it has a greater number of words in the dictionary then the others.lata wrote:Hi Carroll

Thanks again Robert. I do appreciate it.
