I get this error when trying to import jpg files.
File format mismatch

Windows 7
Video Studio Pro X6 - software
Have done the software update
Have reinstalled several times
This is a bug in the software.
I've had this before searched the internet last time for a few days and found the answer, but had to reinstall it and now I have this issue again and can't remember what the solution is.
I know its a software bug because I've seen it on 2 different computers, I was able to solve it before on a computer that has it again. Have tried reinstalling the software.
It may be a conflict with other software, not sure.
Also corel does not have links to download older versions of the software as adobe does.
Have tried searching internet = 3 hours
calling corel on hold = 30 minutes
reinstalling 2 times = 45 minutes
searching for X6 download link = 50 minutes
searching FAQ on corel = 40 minutes
logging into the site as it logs you out when you go to different pages on corel.com = 15 minutes
registering and posting this in this forum = 10 minutes

Re: jpg file format mismatch
Hi
And welcome to the forums
If it’s a bug then its embedded within the program and everyone should be affected.
Using the samples from the photo library do you still have the same problem?
or any error messages?
-----------------------------------------
Some images saved as Progressive rather than Baseline have caused some problems with some software programs.
Some images saved with additional exif details within the camera have also caused some problems.
Please update your forum profile to include your pc specification.
Graphics Drivers have also been a problem, personal experience with lenovo laptops.?
