Need Update Links for VideoStudio X4

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know where to find the patches that were released for VideoStudio X4? This is the version I bought and paid for, and at one time, I was able to download patches for this version.

However, a few years have passed since I last used it, so I installed it on my new PC only to find that I can't get any of the updates that were originally released for VideoStudio X4. Corel is as unhelpful as they always are:

Question: Where can I download updates for PaintShop Pro X1-X4 and VideoStudio X1-X4? I can't find the download link for the SP3 update for VideoStudio X4. Could you please help?

You: Yes but X3 and X4 updates aren't listed there...

You: They should be available. I need the updates and can't run the programs I paid for without them.

I would like to obtain already released updates for the product I own. Please provide them Corel. Can anyone help?

You are not talking to Corel here - no one here works for Corel - or is paid by Corel - we are all just users of VideoStudio trying to help each other.

Corels update policy is to only support the previous two versions so since we are at X7 then Corel only support X5 and X6 and as you have found it is not a bit of good appealing to Corel for the patches.

I'll see if I can find the patches in my archives of Corel downloads - maybe someone else has them or knows a site where they can be found.

Corel should provide patches for older versions, a link on this page for “Updates for older products” does not work, I am sure at one time you could download older patches.

I have tried to attached the patches for VS X4, unfortunately I am having problems doing that.? Hmmmm

I think the files are just to big to add here Trevor - even zipped I'm showing around 30Mb for each one.

You should be able to download from Trevors link earnolmartin but if not come back here and one of us will try an alternative.

Yep you may be correct, although I thought Admin had a higher limit, I would have expected an error message indicating the size.

Anyway running VS X4 and checking for updates will show and download any SP’s that are not installed, I just tried that and it did find SP3 as needing installation

My version is now 14.3.0.5

I have a direct link on the pc, but running out of time at the moment to locate it….

It think it does not exist a SERVICE PACK 3 for VIDEO STUDIO X4
I have downloaded the SP1 and SP2 for X4 at January 2013. When at this time a SP3 was existing, I have downloaded this SP3. But I have not.
X4 was a "garbage"-Version of VIDEOSTUDIO.
Forget the Version X4.

I think you have the wrong version. X3 was very much a garbage edition, and X4 successfully revived it.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for posting links to the patches for X4!

It's sad that Corel doesn't care about its customers. Hence the reason why I will probably not buy their products anymore.
