Hi
Had used VS X2 a few years ago but recently upgraded to an i7 desktop so decided to revisit video editing on the more powerful machine. So, I downloaded the 30-day trial of VS X7 Pro.
First thing I noticed is that I'm only seeing four templates in FastFlick. All the tutorials and other info I've seen appear to show many more templates. Not even sure if I have all the templates for the main program.
I summary, the templates I have in 'Instant Templates' for VS7 itself are ...
Beginning - IP-01 thru IP-05
Middle - IP-01 thru IP-09
Ending - IP-01 thru IP-05
Complete - IP-01 thru IP-05
Custom - Empty
General - V-01.VSP, V-02.VSP, V-51.VSP, V-52.VSP
The templates shown in FastFlick are as for 'General' above, ie only four templates.
Can somebody please advise if this set of templates is correct. Should I have more, or is this because I'm using the trial version? I thought this was a 'fully functioning' trial version?
Thanks, Ian.

Re: VS X7 Pro - Trial version supplied templates
It's certainly fully functioning, but I guess Corel felt they should keep the size of the download smaller for the trial version and supplied only some of the templates which nonetheless still show how the program functions...I thought this was a 'fully functioning' trial version?

Ken,
Thanks for your swift reply!
I take your point about the file size. Glad it sounds like it's because I'm using a trial version, rather than an installation issue.
If I decide to take the 'buy a serial number' route, should the missing features magically appear, or would I be best removing the trial version, then purchasing/ downloading and installing the fresh licensed copy?
Ian.

Re: VS X7 Pro - Trial version supplied templates
Over the years we have noticed that quite a high proportion of members who activate the trial version have various problems - so we always recommend now that you un-install the trial version and install a fully paid version complete with serial number.
All of the admins install from downloads and have no problems - some users with slower internet connections prefer to buy the programme on disc - the choice is yours.

Thanks, both, for your help. I'll take the un-install/re-install route as you recommend.
