Speed/Time Lapse for multiple clips?

Post by sealilly »

Every week I make a slo mo recap for bride and groom. I use about 40-50 clips. I know I can select all for muting, but is there anyway I can select all for slowing speed to 50%? Its a bit tedious to manually do each clip every time. I add crossfade transitions and a song and am done. I have tried rendering full speed and slowing down but dont really like the transitions that way.

Thanks all.

A possible option is to record in slo mo. For example the Panasonic HC-V750 will record at half speed and you can create a second file at a quarter speed from the first. The files record in MP4 which VS X7 handles fine. I have made videos mixing shots recorded in AVCHD mixed with MP4 slo mo shots.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.
