Can not open Picture Tube

I often get the problem that i can not open picture tubes when i' m working in PSP.
Nothing happens when i click the icon.
I have made a restart / reset using method 1 in this link:

I close PSP and try again but the same happens.
I close the computer but the same happens.
The folders are loacated in preferences.

Where do you have your pictures stored?

Check that the file extension is: ***PspTube.

Do Preferences: Locations and make sure both Corel's folder and your custom folder are selected.

What do you actually mean by "opening a picture tube"?
Picture tubes are not usually meant to be "open" unless you are referring to something else that is also called "tube".

Yes the filename is the right.
Both corel folder and custom folder are selected.

I hav used tubes for about 2 years and this has not happened before. I have not changed anything inside the Picture Tube folder.

I mean Picture Tube tool.

Is it all picture tubes, or ust a couple of imported tubes that don't seem to work.

Can you try making a picture tube in your paintshop pro, File > Export > Picture Tube, and give it a name "aaname" so it appears near the top of your tube list.
Then see if you can use that.

I made a picture tube and exported it to picture tubes but - File > Export > Picture Tube - it does not change anything.
The problem is that i can not open Picture Tube Tool.
When i click the icon in the toolbar nothing happens.

I have no problem with the other tools in the tool bar.

Perhaps i have to uninstall PSP and then install again from CD,

Have you had some update for your windows. I see you are using 8.1. Have you had any success with tubes in PSP and 8.1 before?
If it is due to a recent update then you may be able to restore back to when it was working before the update.
If other 8.1 users are not having this trouble and you have done the reset then you may have to reinstall.

Since you say you have used tubes before I presume you have choosen the tube tool and the Tool options up the top has changed and you have been able to select different tubes .
Or is it that you have lost the Tool options (F4) and cannot see the choice of tubes?

The update to 8.1 was made many months ago and i didn' t have this problem.
There was another automatic update in Windows about 2 weeks ago and maybe this problem came then - i' m not sure.
The tool is there - to the left and in the upper part too. It's the Picture Tube tool to the left i can not open.
To uninstall and install again is what i have to do.
