I generally produce disks with just a menu of contents and a selected music track as background when the menu is playing. For my next production, I'm considering using a voiceover during the menu as well. That is, voiceover with music background during the menu presentation.
However, X5, X6 and x7 don't allow any voiceover to be included as part of the menu. Selection of a music/mp3 item is very permissible and there is a facility to choose the track used in the menu from the audio gallery.
So, the question. Does anyone know how a simple voiceover can be applied concurrently with the music background during menu playing?

Re: Voiceover during a menu
Open VideoStudio with an empty project
Place the background music in the music track
Record your narration in the audio track
Go to "Share >> computer >> Audio" and create a .wav audio file of narration and music combined.
close that project - open the new project where the narration is required and go to the DVD creation window.
At the menu edit tab import the .wav file you have just created as the background music.
One thing to note is that if you set 'Motion menu' on then the audio also repeats at that frequency so 30 second motion menu will mean 30 second narration - - I don't know what the limit is without the motion menu I have done two and a half minutes without problems.
