Hi Kenneth
As you are aware to burn a DVD Disc you need a Mpeg2 video file.
You can create that yourself or allow the burner module to do it for you.
First Option – allow VS to do the conversion.
1 / With the completed project open in the timeline – Share Create disc DVD
2 / create a menu
3 / on the last page choose to Create a Disc Image, this will save the data to your hard drive as an ISO file.
Play the iso using VLC Media Player
If the quality is ok, use Tools – Burn from Disc Image to burn the disc.
If the above has problems you must convert the project to the video file.
Second Option - recommmended
First I would render the project to Mpeg2 DVD.
Use the mpeg2 to burn a disc.
1 / Start a new project
2 / Share create Disc –add your Mpeg2
3 / Create a menu
4 / on the last page choose to Create a Disc Image, this will save the data to your hard drive as an ISO file.
Play the iso using VLC Media Player
If the quality is ok, use Tools – Burn from Disc Image to burn the disc.
