Happily using X5 for ages, thought I would treat myself to X7.
Downloaded, installed and SP1 also installed.
All seemed to be working OK until I downloaded some of the extra content...
Now I find I cannot use video preview as the file to be previewed occupies the lower half of the preview window and the navigation area (to control the preview) is missing (off the bottom of the preview window?) so that I cannot play (preview) the project or the clip.
After selecting a change to the category in the category selection area the selection freezes and cannot be changed!
The slider to the right of the library is missing so unable to scroll down.
I see (too late) the comments regarding SP1. What are my options to get X7 up and running again? Can I remove the SP1 and extra content? Any help would be appreciated

Have you tried pressing F7 - it sounds a bit as though your UI is not at the default settings.
