I have searched for this in the paint shop pro forum as well as the entire board and i get the response "no suitable matches were found"
I am running psp x5 15.3.0.8 (32 bit); when i install a plugin and start PSP, no 3rd party plugins show in my list. If i go to file location preferences, select plugins, check that all the paths are correct and click OK, PSP freezes and when i relaunch my workspace is messed up. When i load a saved workspace, the plugins are not immediately available, but when i restart, the plugins that were there previously appear, but not the new one. Eventually, after i start pulling out my sparse curls and just trying any and everything i can think of, the plugins appear, including the new one.
my plugins are located in a folder i created when i originally started using psp, live in my documents with the other PSP prefs, but in a separate folder.
Not sure what other infomation to give you. Does anyone else experience this? Is there a solution?
many thanks,
llgdenise

Re: pspx5 plugins disappear
It sounds like you are doing everything right.
I keep all my most used plugins in a separate folder and link to that.
Have done this for years, it's never been a problem.
Maybe something is corrupted in your version of PSP, you could reset it to it's default settings, which might cure the problem.
Save your workspace, close PSP, Start PSP holding the Shift key at the same time.
A message will appear telling you PSP is reverting to it's default settings.
You will then have to re-set Preferences and re-do the File Locations.
It has saved me from pulling my hair out, it might work for you too

Re: pspx5 plugins disappear
Separate folder, same with me, Joelle, and i didn't have a problem till i moved from X2 to X4. It is, perhaps, the holding down the shift key while launching that is saving my last dredd...
thanks for you insight.
