fixing the portrait and landscape problem
Is there any word on a fix for this portrait and landscape multiple monitor problem? Video Studio x7 is the only program i have to switch my 2nd monitor for and the damn thing is turned 90degrees so its useless with this program. Seriously disappointing. i use windows 7 64bit, is this a problem in windows 8?

Re: fixing the portrait and landscape problem
Not clear on your problem (90deg.?)
I use two screens, the second screen is a 16:9 LG which I use just for the VS Preview screen. The VS preview screen is set to 16:9 and as far as I can see, it cannot be rotated in VS. It might be possible in Windows.
Can you set up the second screen to work properly with VS? And are you aware of "Settings>Layout Settings>Save to" where you can save the VS screen layout you want. My setting with the Preview Screen in screen 2 and set to fill that screen is recorded in Custom #1 and defaults to that on loading up VS.
P.S. Go to Control Panel in Windows. Appearance and Personalisation > Display > Screen Resolution You will see the two screens. Click on Screen 2 > Orientation and set the Screen to the appropriate option.

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.

Re: fixing the portrait and landscape problem
There is no word on a fix because as far as I remember you are the only person who has this problem - a number of people use a second monitor without problems. As Terfyn has said it sounds like a Windows/Hardware setting on your set-up
