Postioning text - but it won't position over another layer item, only to the side of it (or top or bottom). Can't see a way of resolving this within the offending layer.
Please would anyone advise the solution.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: PSP X6: Placement of Text
Nigel , your description is very vague. Your heading "PSP X6" is just as vague as well and is unlikely to attract a lot of attention.
Perhaps a better one would be "How to place Text in PSP X6 . (says it all doesn't it).
It would help to have an image showing what you have and the layers involved or a description similar to what I have done describing what you have done and where the problem occurs. Remember readers cannot read your mind and your difficulties.
I presume.
1. You have a background layer perhaps an image or some other graphic.
2. You have typed in some text as vector and this has appeared on a transparent layer above the background layer.
3. You have applied the text upon which a bounding box should appear with a central section that when you place your cursor over that changes to a 4 sided arrow.
4. At this point you should be able to left click and drag the text wherever you like on top of the image.
Regards
Paul

FYI -- I agree with hartpaul about using sensible titles for posts, so have made the necessary change here...
