Installation Problem

Post by pepegota »

What junk is this?
What junk is this?
I have a new Windows 8.1 computer and I used my VS7_Ultimate_Bonus_X64 file to install the program.
I was greeted with the following screen: and could go no farther. Win 8.1, I may just junk it and go back to Windows 7.
However, is there a solution?

I am not sure if that was a typo, but why would you use the VS7_Ultimate_Bonus_X64 file to install the program (VS7 should of course be VSX7)? That is the bonus features installation file. You should first install the program with VSX7_Ultimate_PF_x64.exe. (FWIW I just gave myself a birthday present yesterday in the form of a new Win 8.1 computer, and installed first VSX7_Ultimate_PF_x64.exe, then VSX7_Ultimate_Bonus_X64.exe and it all worked fine...)
