Has anyone had this problem
I have PSP X4, X5 and X6 installed on an HP computer running Windows 7 Professional.
Everything was working fine.
I downloaded and installed the trial version of PSP X7 and now I can't get X6 to run.
Tried X5 and it started up OK.
If I click on my desktop icon for X6 nothing happens.
If I go to the "Program Files (x86)/Corel/Corel PaintShop Pro X6" folder and click on "Corel PaintShop Pro.exe", nothing happens.
Same result if I go to "Program Files/Corel/Corel PaintShop Pro X6 (64-bit)" folder and click on "Corel PaintShop Pro.exe", again nothing happens.
But if I have X7 running and I minimize it, then if I click on the X6 desktop icon or the "Corel PaintShop Pro.exe" program in the X6 folder, then again X7 comes back up.
Any suggestions?

Re: PSP X6 will not start after installing X7 trial
OK, I figured this one out and will leave the solution in case anyone else runs into this problem.
I uninstalled PSP X7 and X6 then would start up just fine by clicking on my desktop icon.
Then reinstalled X7, but this time selected "install new database" while going through the install wizard. (I think this is the wording that was used by the wizard).
The first time I did not install a "new" database, so X7 must have hijacked the X6 database and X6 became non-existent.
