i download vs7 trial version and install it.
every time i import mov file to the timeline the program crashe.
can you tell me please what to do?

MOV is a wrapper not a file. It can contain many hundreds of file types.
The one you are using either doesn't have the codec installed for VS to use, or is incompatible with VS.
Your choices would be, find which codec made the file and install it and see if VS can then use it.
Convert the file to another file type of a sort that will work with VS, and use that.

hi the mov file is from my canon dslr camera in vs6 i use the same files and ther was no any problem with it. i import also mp4 file to vs7 and its crash somthing wrong with this program .

I have used video from a Canon 7D with no crashes.
Make sure you have Quicktime installed, latest version.
There have been some issues with specific Mov types, view this post

By the way I did not need use the hotfix to view my video files.
