I'm trying to decide if I want to keep & buy this newer x6. I'm a VERY basic user of the old v6.0 and I only use it to:
1. Crop
2. Select a box to delete the stuff in it
3. Add text
4. Rotate the image either 90° or some odd amount to make a photo level if I was leaning when I took the PIC.
5. Color Replacer
6. Erase
7. Preset shapes
8. Rotate
9. Resize
This x6 works better with my Windows 8.1 since my old v6.0 wouldn't open a JPG if I just double-clicked it but x6 will. But so far that's the ONLY advantage that I've seen for my limited types of use. I'm gonna need to be convinced somehow that spending any money to buy a new program when my trial runs out in 9 days would be worth it. If not, I'll just stick with what I've got that I know how to use so well and just open PSP first each time and then go Open the JPG with it.
Is there a Link in x6 like in v6.0 to Delete a photo?

- PSP v6.0 will pop this box after I double-click a JPG in File Explorer and then it will open a blank copy of PSP with no image displayed.

If you only want the software to do the list you quoted and the current version you are using does the job, why update.
By the way, the new version is PSPX7. Download the newer version and trial it.
As for deleting a photograph, can't you just click the image in the layers palette and pop it into the bin or just close the image by using the x.
