X7 and Twain Aquire

I have recently made one major change to my laptop, I have installed Windows 8.0 and then upgraded to 8.1. I have also installed a HP Photosmart 6520 network all-in-one printer/scanner. This pinter works correctly with all the software have recently tried with the exception of X7

When I run PaintShopPro X7 most things seem to work OK but I have difficulties with the scanner part of the HP 6520.

If I go to File/Import/From scanner or camera I get the scanner window and I can scan a document or photo.

If I go to File/Import/Twain Source the HP 6520 cannot be seen. I imagine that this is due to a problem with the twain drivers. How can I resolve this problem?

Are you using the 64-bit version of PSP X7?
Try the same with the 32-bit version. If that works, it is because the printer is not using a 64-bit driver.
I have the same problem with my HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-one.
