Shape Cutter problem in PSPX7

When using Preset Shapes, if the current shape selected (and used) is displayed in the menu as white, as opposed to black (and, to tell the truth, I don't know what the difference is), the Shape Cutter is inhibited (i.e. not available). If the current one is black, no problem, and they all cut out ok, regardless of whether they are black or white.

For some reason this doesn't work on vector layers and groups. If you open the vector group and select the component parts it will be activated.
