Help with buying a budget laptop for videostudio 7

My own personal view is that this computer does appear expensive for what you are getting, however that is your choice, there are many other MSI configurations available which you could look at also.

Ok I found this site PC SPECIALIST, who custom make laptops, pcs whatever. You may have heard of them or others on this forum. I joined their forum and a asked what sort of spec I could get built for my budget of say £1000.
I mentioned it was for video editing , gaming and the like.
This is what spec they said I could get custom built for my money, what are your thoughts?

Hi everyone!
Wow..ages since I posted. Well I'm on the lookout for a good laptop on a budget which will run videostudio 7without flaws or any probs.
The laptop is only going to be used for this, as I've got an imac for my other stuff.
I don't really want to go near eBay as I'm just a bit wary of what money I'm paying out and what happens if things go wrong.
I've noticed HP and Lenovo seem decent but concious about making sure I get the right spec to run and edit my vids without problems , for the money I'll pay

Any suggestions/links - would be really grateful.

If you have an iMac (I have one also) why don't you download the free trial app
for FCPX? After my 30 day trial I purchased it & am very satisfied with the short
learning curve. I am not attempting to discourage you with VSx7, just suggesting
another option.
