You can do some pretty neat things with LAB.
If not, is there any intention of adding it?
Thanks, Eric
Does PSP 6 or 7 support LAB and CMYK color spaces?

It does not allow editing in those color spaces. But PSPX7 does now allow you to use CMYK and LAB sliders to select colors inside the Materials Palette.

Thanks. Do you know if they intend to add these color spaces? Sure would make PSP more of a full photo editing software package if they did add them.

I don't believe CMYK is in their sights at all. Something about the price of accurate CMYK development. For CMYK they recommend using their Photo-Paint application that comes with Corel Draw. It's professional level by comparison to PSP.
As for LAB, I don't know as anyone has asked and gotten any sort of response on it. So I can't say if they ever plan on supporting LAB or not.

I seem to recall that, "years ago", at least, Photo-Paint 9 supported LAB. But that is, by now, an incredibly ancient version. I have no idea if more modern versions support it.LeviFiction wrote:I don't believe CMYK is in their sights at all. Something about the price of accurate CMYK development.
