could you just clarify what you mean by watermarking?

are you talking about the digital signature provided by digimark?

or something like this:

I've used the PSP watermark feature but it's limited.
Here's what I do.
I created a 'logo/watermark' as a file. (Same file for every photo). Transparent background. Then when ever I finish a file I open my watermark file. Copy it. Then paste it as a new layer. The benefit of this way is that it gives you a number of options. You can drag your logo to where ever you want it. And you can set the opacity to suit the file you are water marking.
Simply copy your water mark file. Set it as a new layer. Locate and edit the logo layer. Merge the layers and save.

If you mean version X6 you can find it here Image --> Watermarking. If you mean the older version 6 I'm afraid I can't help.

Here is a screenshot of what I see, using one of the few png files I have. I'm using version 16.2.0.20.
I wonder if the bottom of the menu is getting cut off because of screen resolution.

Normally if a menu option isn't available for any reason it's 'greyed out', not removed.
Have you done any customizing of the menus etc? If 'arithmetic' is the last option on your image menu, you might have accidentally removed Watermarking.
Even if you didn't you could try menu File/Preferences/Reset preferences... and reset workspace to default configuration. That should bring menus etc. back to factory settings.

Edit: to reset the menus, maybe you don't need to reset the whole workspace. If you right-click to open the Customize dialog, the Menu tab has a Reset button for Default Menu. That might be worth a try.

How about you trying the menu reset before keeping people busy in other directions?

menu View/Customize...
tab Menu (4th tab)
top left hand side, Reset button to reset Default Menu to factory glory.

If that doesn't restore the Watermarking... option to the bottom of the Image menu (you say it's missing) then a re-install may be needed, or a workspace restore.
Again, menu options don't normally just disappear. Either they're removed (accidentally is easier than you think) during customization or there's a problem with PSP.

When I use PSPX6 on a widescreen laptop the Watermarking is half off the bottom. If I have the window restored down then it disappears completely, but half reappears if I maximise the window. The menus are getting a bit too long for my screen.
File > Exit is not viewable. I had to Customise and remove Share My Trip and Email to make Exit visible.

If it is a case of the menu disappearing off the bottom of the screen slide your mouse over the bottom of the menu and the Watermark options will appear. Works on my widescreen laptop.

I have a similar problem with the X7 and my screen. One way i found to access the commands that are too low is to hover the cursor on the lowest command accessible and then use the arrow key to go downward.

Another alternative would be to customize the menu and insert the Watermark higher on the menu (which would likely push down something else, but if it is not used much. Yet another way is to add the command to another menu, even a custom menu or on a toolbar. PSP allows so much customization!
