AfterShot Pro - how to change RAW defaults?

Post by nex4 »

I should have asked this a lot earlier. I use ASP 1.2 and I am confused about the RAW default setting applied on existing photo. If I first open a photo, it uses a default. I didn't like the default, so I changed the default and click save as RAW default. But all the photos that previously seen by ASP stick to their original settings before the change. Why is that? There is no .xml file generated yet.

This is the same even if I delete all the photos and copy over again. If I change the name of the photo, it will pick up new defaults. That means all the settings for each photo are saved somewhere. Where were they saved? (I use Windows 7 and OS X). Can I prevent ASP from saving this information to its private database?

Because the rendering has been cached.

You can always nuke the cache in your user folder.

You could force selected images to use the current defaults with CTRL-R.
