Not sure if this is a bug (well, pretty sure it is) - anyone else seen this behavior?
After upgrading from AS1 to AS2, I just pointed AS2 at the AS1 catalog (maybe my mistake?) Everything seemed to work fine, but I noticed that about 50% of the time if I try and browse to an "older" folder in my catalog, I get this:
If I exit the program and restart it, this will go away for a while.
Not sure if it's relevent or not, but I did upgrade cameras so I usually start the program looking at a CR2 for a 6D and the older images will be on a 60D.
I'm tempted to blow away my catalog DB and start over from scratch to rule out any upgrade issues.
Anyone else seen this behavior?

Re: Pink static images
If you have Open CL acceleration turned on try turning it off.

Re: Pink static images
It may be enough to reduce the level of Open CL acceleration. I was having the same problem and that seemed to work.df wrote:If you have Open CL acceleration turned on try turning it off.

I do not have OpenCL enabled. I did try turning down all the acceleration options though (use 3 cores instead of 4, 1 I/O thread, and 1 batch item in flight).
I'll see how that does.

Crap. It's still doing it, but not as often maybe? I'll need some more soak time.jakev383 wrote:I do not have OpenCL enabled. I did try turning down all the acceleration options though (use 3 cores instead of 4, 1 I/O thread, and 1 batch item in flight).

Re: Pink static images
Make sure you saved the XMPs in the AS1 and then recreate the catalog in AS2.

Re: Pink static images
I'd be willing to bet that you have settings made in previous versions that are incompatible with ASP2. Noise Ninja for example is no longer available due to NN withdrawing their support. In which case afx's advice is the best course.

Re: Pink static images
Thanks - I'll give that a shot. I want to rebuild my catalog anyway, since I moved a lot of pictures off to an autofs sshfs mount.
