Default phot duration - VS7

Is there a way to change the default photo duration from 3 seconds to another value? I change it for the current video, then save and close the video, then start a new project and the program then reverts to a default of 3 seconds. I must be missing a way to set the default value. Thanks.

Yes go to "Settings >> Preferences" - when the new dialogue window opens along the top choose the 'Edit' tab - then near the top you will find "Default color/photo duration" - change that drop down to whatever value you prefer - OK at the bottom to close the window and set your preference.
