Video Studio Ultimate X6 Crash
I have had Video Studio Ultimate X6 for a little while, but recently had to uninstall and then re-install. When I try and apply pan/zoom to several images at the same time, by selecting the images and then right clicking and selecting Auto Pan/Zoom the program crashes. Any ideas from anywhere please ?

To how many photos you tried to apply it?
Have you tried a bit less?

Re: Video Studio Ultimate X6 Crash
It happens even with just one photo, if I right click and try auto pan/zoom, the program crashes - if I try it by using auto pan/zoom from the edit drop down menu, it crashes. When it crashes a small screen with a message flashes up, but it is too quick for me to read. Anything else ie photo duration works fine, it is just this auto pan/zoom

Hi
First did you install the Service Pack available from Corel
http://www.videostudiopro.com/en/suppor ... id=6500001
Also have you installed QuickTime to the computer?
I cannot say if these will cure your problem.?
For that error message you can try taking a Screen Recording whilst you set Pan and Zoom, play that video back to pause on that window?
I wonder if you are having other problems with the program. ?????
There are several ways to set Pan and Zoom……..
1 / Apply the Video Pan and Zoom filter from FX library
2 / FX Picture in Picture can be used
3 / If you right click a clip and select Customise Motion.
4 / Double click a single clip image to open the Options Panel, choose the Photo tab,
Choose Re-sampling as Pan and Zoom -- Customise
Do any of those work?

Re: Video Studio Ultimate X6 Crash
Thanks for that and I've managed to do a screen capture and get the message, which reads as follows :
OMP : Error #15: Initializing libiomp5md.dll, but found libguide40.dll already initialized.
OMP ; Hint: This may cause performance degradation and correctness issues. Set environment variable KMP_DUPLICATE_LIB_OK=TRUE to ignore this problem and force the program to continue anyway. Please not that the use of KMP_DUPLICATE_LIB_OK is unsupported and using it may cause undefined behaviour. For more information please see :http://www.intel.com/software/products/support/.
To me, being a complete computer ignoramus, this may as well be written in Martian as it means nothing and would dearly love someone to explain to me, step by step, what I need to do to sort my problem !!!
I have looked at the website quoted, but just got lost !!

Hi
Unfortunately it means as much to me as you.
However I did find another post relating to this…. (Dec 2011)
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... 34#p235734
Maybe that will help, mind you I did not understand that either,
I will search the forum to see if there is any other related posts.

Hi
There is another poster having the same issues, also one that seems to have fixed his problem. Do a search of the forum for libiomp5md.dll produces some hits.
Please read this post to see if it helps

Re: Video Studio Ultimate X6 Crash
It looked like a good solution and I tried it for the Windows 7 solution, but when I went back to Corel X6 and tried multiple pan/zoom it told me "no .dll's found in waterfall procedure".
So thank you for the efforts but I am still lost

Re: Video Studio Ultimate X6 Crash
Coincidentally, about a year ago, I too received that strange "waterfall" error message. I found that it was associated with my installation of GoPro Studio (which I had not been able to get to work properly with my Hero 3 footage). GoPro itself recommends the following, which certainly worked in my case (and now GoPro Studio also works, though I continue to use VS mainly for editing my Hero 3 video):
Error: 'No DLLS were Found in the Waterfall Procedure' Occurs After Installing GoPro Studio
In some cases after installing GoPro Studio, other applications may report an error that states: "Error at loading if ippSP library - No DLLS were Found in the Waterfall procedure".
If this occurs the solution is to browse to: C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and then remove these files:
ippcore-6.1
ippj-6.1
ippjw7-6 .. 1
IPPS-6.1
ippvc-6.1

Re: Video Studio Ultimate X6 Crash
Cobrairon, have you performed a full computer search for the two .dll files? I've got a similar problem where I can no longer open projects or import media http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=54429 , and I've just discovered that VSP uses the old legacy dll ( libguide40), whereas my Capture One software is the only user of libiomp5md.dll, so I'm wondering if there is some ill-conditioning there. It would be interesting to know what other software you have that uses the libiomp5md.dll.
