Hi everybody,
Can anyone tell me please, if the Newblue Titler EX is installed into Corel X7 Ultimate?? I already have the Corel X6 Ultimate and would like to upgrade to the newest X7 ultimate. I wonder if the the Newblue Titler EX is installed into Corel X7 Ultimate?? Thanks in advance, Telmo.

I am sorry but your question does not make sense - you say you already have X7 Ultimate - there is only one version of the X7 Ultimate so there is nothing more to add.

If the Ultimate version is missing a plug-in you require you can buy it direct from New-blue - just make sure there is a 64 bit version if you have the 64 bit programme installed.

NewBlueTitlerEx.exe (X6) for (X5) was called TitlerEx.exe

These were provided as free additions to the FX filter section, available by download after purchasing the program. ( I guess a little thank-you from Corel)
The filter would show in the FX library section, and at the bottom of the list.

I don’t think Corel provides this with X7, it may well be a 64Bit issue, maybe the filter is only suitable for 32 bit programs.

Sorry Brian, I made a mistake. I wanted to say, that I already own the Corel X6 Ultimate. I was willing to upgrade to X7 Ultimate, but now that I know I won't be able to access the NewBlue Titler EX, I don't think I should upgrade. The Titler EX is a great Titling. Thanks Lata for your clarification. I'd better keep my Corel X6 Ultimate. Cheers. Telmo.

This is the sole reason I haven't switched to X7 Ultimate, why by a piece of software that doesn't suit your needs?
I for one use X6 Ultimate with Titler EX for my YouTube vids all the time, and I give a damn about faster rendering times
that aren't available with an x264 lossless codec anyway.

If X8 Ultimate continues the trend to do away with pro plugIns for useless pseudo features
I will probably switch to some other video software altogether.

I entirely agree with you "Storm". When a product is upgraded, it's supposed to have more features but not less. The Newblue Tiller EX was such a great addition to Corel Studio X6 Ultimate and it's a pity NOT having that on the newest to X7 Ultimate.

This forum is managed by volunteers, we do not work for Corel so we cannot answer your queries on X7 policy
Just like you I don’t know why the Titler software has not been provided for X7….. my best guess as mentioned before is because of the upgrade to 64bit versions. I would assume the Titler is 32 bit.

You may be best asking the question to Corel Support or Corel on Facebook, at least you will be talking to Corel people, sorry I cannot be more positive, but I just don’t know..

Trevor (lata) is correct, other than the New Blue filters included with VSX7, which are 64 bit, New Blue still do not have 64 bit versions of all the other New Blue filter packages including Titler EX (which was a special version created for Corel). I have been in discussion with New Blue since VSX7 was released and they still do not have a release date for 64 bit versions for Corel.
Corel must take some blame for this situation, because of there apparent lack of action in trying to rectify this problem with New Blue, I have installed the 32 bit version of VSX7, because this is the only way I can use my extensive New Blue package collection.
