PSPX7 won´t run (could not found mfc110u.dll)

I bought and installed PSPX7 on my Computer with Windows Vista Home Premium SP2.

If I start PSPX7 I get an error message, see attachment.

Can somebody help me?

Welcome to the forums... though it is sad you are having this problem...

Unfortunately, it does not appear that mfc110u.dll is a dll associated with PSP. If you do a Google search for it, you will see that many people have had a similar problem with a wide variety of other programs. Equally, there is a wide variety of possible solutions: one possible set of answers is http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerr ... -error.htm

Please note that many of the answers stress that you should NOT simply download a new version of the dll from an dll download site, since that often causes wider problems.

Check for updates to Vista. It installed fine and runs great on my computer with Windows 7 Home Premium. Maybe time to get a new operating system.

Try running the System File Checker Tool, follow instructions for Vista. I've used it a few times and it restored some files that were missing. Description and instructions at this link:

There are two similar ways to solve this problem. This missing file is a part of Microsoft Visual Studio 2012, so the first way to fix it is reinstalling this component. You can easily find it on official Microsoft website, it's free. You can also download mfc110u.dll from extraneous website, for example http://fix4dll.com/mfc110_dll It's safe but don't forget to check it with anti-virus software. If you decide to download it without re-installation of MS Visual Studio, don't forget to add to to registry.
