install pro or ultimate?

hello today i buy and i installed ultimate x7 . but the software finds updates and tells me that found a new version of PRO X7!!!also the desktop icon ''says'' pro x7.but in programs and features i see ULTIMATE X7!!!is that normal?sorry for my silly question

The 'Pro' and 'Pro Ultimate' programmes are IDENTICAL - the ONLY difference between the two options is that the Ultimate version comes with a lot of extras from Pro-Dad , Boris and New Blue - providing you have those you have the ultimate version

Yes that is normal, its just the wording that Corel choose to use.

If you float the mouse over the desktop icon yes it does relate to VSPro
You should also see a tool tip showing the “location vstudio” that should point to C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X7.

To complete the installation you should also install VSX7_Ultimate_Bonus_x64.exe
As Brian says that file contains the ProDad- Boris and NewBlue extra sortware/plugins

thakn you very much.and one more question:during of the first installation appears a window and ask me if i want to install quick time,flash player and another thing(3checking boxes i remember) i clik ok and the installation complete.but after restore my system with acronis true image(i have some issues with office) when i reinstall video studio, installed directly without asking me if i wnat install quick time e.t.c.is not appear ,the second time , the window with choise option.is a bug?should i reinstall?i don't think is something serius.the installation complete succesfully.what do you think?

I think your program has installed correctly.

Try the program to see if you receive any errors or problems.

Quicktime is probably installed, view your Start - All Program menu for the Quicktime folder.

You can update Quicktime from their web site.
