PSP x6 giving "no files found"
The other day PSP x6 started freezing, then crashing my computer. I finally got that stopped and now it's not recognizing files in folders. Sometimes it'll show me half of the images in "manage" mode, but rarely. Any idea what's going on??

Have you tried resetting the program to default status? Press Shift and hold it while you click on the PSP icon on the desktop.

Yep, tried that. Also dumped all temporary files. Even deleted the pspbrowse files from all the folders. Still nothing.

If you've reset PSP and that didn't help, maybe one of these things might:
On the Navigation palette in the Manage tab and/or organizer palette, are you using the Collections or Computer tab?
If you're using Collections, try the Refresh option of the thumbnail palette (second button on the palette in X4). Even in Computer tab, refresh might help, as it forces a re-read.
If that doesn't work, just to be sure, check under File/Preferences/General program preferences/Manage that there are no File format exclusions that shouldn't be there, and that the folders you're trying to see aren't included in Uncataloged Folders.
If you're using the Collections tab and nothing works, you may need to rebuild the database. In X4 it's located in:
\users\your name\appdata\local\corel paintshop pro\14.0\database\imageDB.db
-Obviously, 14.0 is probably 15.0 or 16.0 in higher versions.
-try renaming the database to something like imageDB.DB.sav. PSP will build a new one when you browse again. The build should be faster than the first time because the thumbnails have already been made. If that fixes the problem, you can delete the .sav.
Appdata is a hidden folder in Windows Explorer so you may need to change your user folder to show hidden files and folders.
That's about all I can think of for now. Good luck.
