Re: Increase image...
When upsizing the canvas you'll want to do it at about 50% intervals. Increasing too big all at once will come up with huge jagged edges. If you're interested I made an upsizing script that you're welcome to try. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ia5o2683egtpd ... .PspScript It upsizes at around 150%. To go bigger just run it multiple times until you get to the size you need.

If you use the script you'll want to use Unsharp Mask when you're at the size you want. Adjust until it looks right.

Re: Increase image...
Of course one of the first questions that should have been asked was what are you starting with and how big do you want to make it.
if you want to take an image which is just 150 pixels x 200 pixels (about a postage stamp size) and make that into an 8 x 10 inch print size (2400 x 3000 pixels) then you have no chance of getting a reasonable image.
Any form of upsizing just duplicates the pixels that are there eg 2 black pixels become 4 . It cannot produce any more detail or any new detail.
This is why best advice is to take any photos at largest camera setting possible and reduce down rather than taking small and trying to upsize.
