Could some tell me if you can use CD & DVD Picture Show to create a slide show that can be used on a Computer with CD Rom and also played on a TV by using DVD player. If not is there a Ulead product that will do this?
Thanks,
Gordon

Osmosis,
I guess I didn't make clear what I want to do. I want to burn two slide shows that are the same, on the same disk, so that the person can view the show either on their computer or on their TV. Several years ago I downloaded the trial version of Picture Show and it had the option that you could watch the show on your computer or TV, however when I ordered Picture Show2, that option was no longer available. The reason that I want to do this is because not all DVD players will play VCD's

I agree with Ozmosis. It's really a matter of hardware.
Now one option is to make a computer/web slideshow with Photo Explorer 8.5. Save that in a personal folder and inlcude that on the DVD with DVD Pictureshow's slideshow. However they will actually be two different slideshows. Photo Explorer does not support transistions, effects, transitions, or more than one song.
I recommend make the VCD and take the chance that if they can't play it in the DVD player, they will have the common sense to stick it in a computer. Even if you burn a DVD there are no guarantees since the DVD player may not recognize the format of disc you are using.

re: Creating slide show for Computer and TV
playmaker, I don't really understand your question.
The purpose of authoring projects with PictureShow is to create slideshows for TV. The thing to consider of course is, what type of player do you have (VCD, SVCD or DVD).
Then once you've creaded a video disc, it should also be playable on your computer with the appropriate software. Windows Media Player should do the trick.

re: Creating slide show for Computer and TV
If you open the contents of your VCD from Windows Explorer, you will see folders like CDDA, CDI, EXT, MPEGAV, SEGMENT, and VCD. Open the folder MPEGAV, you will se a *.dat file (usually AVSEQ01.dat or MUSIC01.dat). Open this file with Windows Media Player. However, if your VCD has menu options (like the ones created in PictureShow), the info for this is not loaded in Windows Media Player. So it would also be nice if you can have a dedicated VCD/DVD media player on your computer. Try using Ulead DVD Player. You can get the trial version from the Ulead Website...

hmmm...
I wonder how's that possible. Try Intervideo WinDVD instead. Download the trial version here: http://www.intervideo.com/jsp/WinDVD_Download.jsp
If the same thing happens with this one, maybe there's e problem with your system time setting. Make sure it is set to the correct date.
