Very interesting & thank you JoeB for some clarification. Perhaps I spoke too soon earlier. The original poster MC Peko did not mention pixels or points in the original post. It was actually other posters that talked about pixels. I personally have never had a need to use pixels for text.

Creating text in pixels is necessary when you create images for the web. It is what I do. For example, if I want to create a button with text on a web page, the only way to do it is to measure the text in pixels because button size is fixed.

I always use pixels in PSP.

Amazingly this kerning issue has not been resolved in PSP 2018 either. Seems very strange to include super-script and sub-script before addressing such critical bugs. Also, whilst I was thrilled to see support for justify-align after all this years, it does not work.
