Jerky scroling titles

Post by wSOLDIER »

Hi - I searched the board but couldn't locate this issue.

My project has a segment of MPG video followed by a fade and then a segment of scrolling titles.

When I play the project it displays correctly.

But when I render it to a MPEG-2 file, the video plays correctly, but the scrolling title segment has an artifact in which some of the letters randomly increase in size slightly or flicker.

Is this a common problem, and is there a fix?

no it is not common - but how did you create the scrolling titles - did you use a preset - an FX add on - or the inbuilt 'Fly' option like this :- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CKsSM4CHT4 - or some other method

Hi - I used the 5th preset from the left on the top row and then added my titles by typing and "pushing up," as in the YouTube video.
