Importing camera memory card images

Post by mrfran »

I have Paint Shop Pro X5, on a windows 7 computer. I cannot find any way to import the images from my camera memory card to Paint Shop Pro X5. Am I missing an icon that would open the transfer window? Thanks. F. Smith

I use a card reader and drag and drop to a windows folder. Then I process my choice of images into PSP.

Using PSP to download images from a card would be like using a military tank to crush a peanut.
As well if you are trying to load all your images into PSP at one time you may have a problem beyond 10 images.
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

I prefer to think of it as transferring the files from the memory card to a folder (which is what Hartpaul does). I use a card reader and (aversion of) Windows explorer for this task then select the destination folder in PSP navigator to work on the files I want to edit.

If you want to "transfer" to PSP, one way would be; with your memory card connected, use PSP Navigator to select the memory card. Once you have edited the image you would then decide where to store the modified file ("save" or "save as").
