Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5 Error

Post by widlak »

I launched Dvd MovieFactory 5 and selected DVD click on "OK'. When I clicked on the icon "Add Video Files" and double click on a .avi file which I had previously watched and it was ok, it says "X:/My Videos/video.avi is not available". Why is that?

Thank You.

Where had you previously watched it?
From within movie factory?
If it was a media player it could be that the file is not compatible with MF5.

The thing is that .avi is really only a "wrapper' extension... More than 800 different video formats, wildly different from each others, call themselves .avi... As Graham said, maybe you have one which is not compatible with MF 5, or the codec might not be available to MF...
