@retiredPhil

Do you have that green issue with a file that has NikonVers1.0 (e.g.) as software mentioned? If yes, then please upload that file to my FTP.

I get the same green haze on my laptop. Laptop is an ASUS, running Windows 7, Home Premium, 64 bit. I have PSP X6 installed in 64 bit mode.

I have uploaded it, but it is in folder 152452205 since I couldn't delete the other one. Please note that it is firmware version 1.2 (P7000V1.2) since it is for the P7000, not the P7100.

@ to all with a green Coolpix result.

I've escalated the issue and asked to update import filter so that's compatible with the new version of Nikon software 1.2.

UPDATE

DvTeam is aware that there is a new version of Nikon software 1.3 coming out or already available. They will include this in their tests and fix.

I have just had good support from Corel re a similar issue:

My RAW files were all perfect in X6 - shot @ 14bit on a Nikon D5300
I bought X7 and suddenly all my RAW files have a purple tint to them - Corel advised that I shoot at 12bit and that solved the problem.

I do not edit RAW files in any other software so that cannot be the problem. I am puzzled that X6 supports 14bit but X7 does not. It seems a step backwards to me

I just downloaded your green file and I think that the problem is that you edited this test file in another program from Nikon's viewnx2.0
I downloaded a sample P7100 from [corrected] rawsamples.ch and this file works fine, because the Coolpix oroginal software COOLPIXP7100V1.0 was used.
This is not unusual that when RAW files were change din other programs that they are not working in other programs.
Please open an original file and it should work.

I haven't tested the file from your friend, but as soon as it's uploaded I will do so.

@Ivz

Can confirm that this was logged as a program error last week.

Night shots are looking strange on my Nikon P7000 also after saving them to my pc. My nrw files have a weird green hue, even though the jpegs looked pretty normal. Others have reported pink or yellow, but mine are exclusively green. Anyway have a quickfix type solution to this common issue, there must be some workaround for this?

My "quick fix" is to use ViewNX 2 to preprocess nrw files. You can convert them to tif, which keeps all the resolution. Under File, select "Convert Files". Be sure you have selected tif at the top, I elected for 16 bit. You can change file names at the bottom. Then click "Convert". It goes fairly quickly.

It's a new year. Maybe we'll get a resolution to green NRW files from a Nikon P7xxx?
