Is it possible to render a video with Alpha/Transparency?

Hi,

Is it possible to render a video with Alpha/Transparency?
For instance, to create a lower third or an animated text, render it as video and to use in another project.

No you cannot create a video with transparency - but you can render what you need with a blue or green (or any plain colour really) background and Chroma Key it over any other video
