Visual Studio Movie Wizard (VS8)

Post by Gizmo »

Hi

I was wondering if someone can help me I have got VideoStudio 8 and when I go into the Movie Wizard part of the program I only have one style template to choose from - although all the help options mention a number of style templates - the only one I have is one called "Celebration".

I would appreciate if it someone might be able to steer me in the right direction - have had a look at the directory and under the directory "Editing Style" and then style there is only one reference to a template file .wvs - celebration....

I have also downloaded a 350mb file from the website hoping that it had the correct installation in it but it doesn't it does have some files but unsure of where to put them.

Sorry I am new to all of this and haven't had a chance to have a good play with the software as yet.

Regards
H...

Gizmo,
The right direction is to read the top post: "NEW USERS PLEASE READ..." and follow the link to the Recommended Procedure.

Don't even think about using the Movie "Wizard."

Hi Gizmo

Have you installed the INDEO driver from the installation disc?
Run Video Studio installation disc.
From the splash screen select ‘install utilities’
Have a look at the read me file.
Look at no 3 as below.

Intel Indeo 5.0 - This is the codec for creating or playing .AVI files in QuickTime. You should install Intel Indeo 5.0 or above to be able to use the style templates in the Ulead VideoStudio Movie Wizard.

Still can't add or change Style Templates

I am having the same problem/issue of not being able to change or add the style templates when I use use Video Studio (Edtitor or Wizard)

I have VideoStudio 8.0 SE which came bundled in MovieFactory Suite 3.5 which came with the DVD Burner I purchased (Pioneer DVR 509)

Before you tell me to read the "NEW USER...." Post - I have. I have also followed the insturcions on it with regard to downloading and installing the Update Packs - as much as the Ulead site will let me.

Bottom line is the update packs don't resolve my problem.

Can you or anyone else on this site please help with instructions or advise on how to add or change the style templates in VS 8.0 SE?

BTW, the MovieFactory Suite 3.5 doesn't come with Indeo driver (at least not named that) and I HAVE installed ALL items of the MovieFactory Sutie 3.5
