can't resize pics or unselect 'lock aspect ratio'

I went to resize a picture and the 'lock aspect ratio' option is now selected and locked for every picture I open. It's grayed out and I can't unselect it. I resized a picture yesterday with no problem and did not change any settings that I am aware of. I've been using this software for many years and this is a 1st for me. Any idea on what's causing the lockdown or how to change whatever setting is causing this?

Never mind. It's too early in the morning. I was missing the check on the 'resize with' button. For years this was checked by default and all of sudden it's now unchecked to where I have to manually click on it to resize. Still don't know why that changed all of a sudden.

Glad you got it worked out. In the future you may want to also state which version of PSP you're using at the time.
