Screen capture X7 question

I am trying to use Screen Capture X7 to record a video game. The game plays in full screen. I have tried to start recording before I enter the game but once I start the game it stops recording. I have also tried to use the short cut keys while playing and still will not record. any idea on what I need to do? If you need more info please let me know.

When you say recording stops - do you mean that when you play back the screen capture video there is just the first few seconds and then the video stops - or do you mean that there is nothing actually recorded and when you play back the capture video you just see a blank screen for most of it.

Yes when I say stops recording there is a screen capture video. You can see me moving my mouse to open the game and when the game opens the recording ends.
