WinDVD 11 Trial version will not play 3D Bluray. Error msg

I have built a Home Entertainment PC (HTPC). I have installed a Bluray reader and I want to view 3D movies on my 3D TV.
I have downloaded several trial versions of Bluray software to test. I do not want to purchase Blu-ray software until I can prove that everything works with my 3D television.
There is a major problem with WinDVD 11 Pro trial version.
2D blu-ray movie discs play normally.
When I try to play a 3D bluray disc, I get a pop up error message.
"This Blu-ray Disc requires a Blu-ray 3D player connected to a 3D display. Your Blu-ray 3D player has not detected that it is connected to a 3D display."

I can not get passed this message.
The trial version of Total Media Theater 6 and the trial version of PowerDVD 14 did not have this problem. Both of these products could play a 3D Bluray. Although both of those products had some other issues.

The first image is the error message when trying to play the BD "Life of Pi". This BD is from 20th century fox. This BD has some content in 2D, including the opening menu screen, but the movie is in 3D. WinDVD will play the opening and play the 2D content. When you click on 3D movie you get the error and can not go further.
The next 2 images are the error message when trying to play the BD "Green Lantern". WinDVD will not play it at all. It takes you immediately to the error message. This BD is from Warner Brothers. So the problem does not appear to be movie or studio specific.
The error messages from the two blu-ray discs are slightly different. This suggests that the error message is being generate from the blu-ray disc itself.
I have searched thru the "Life of Pi" BD disc and I have found a PNG image file that contains the error message.
There is some problem in the way WinDVD is playing the 3D blu-ray disc that is causing the blu-ray disc to generate the error message.
It appears that the 3D blu-ray disc is looking for a dedicated (external) 3D Blu-ray player and not finding one.
I have experimented with several blu-ray play back programs. I have encountered this error only with WinDVD.
Competing software, such as PowerDVD and Total Media Theater, must provide some means to fool the 3D blu-ray disc into accepting the computer internal blu-ray reader/writer as a dedicated 3d blu-ray player connected to a 3D TV.
WinDVD software appears to be missing this or doing it wrong.
That fact that other 3D capable software can play these 3D blu-ray discs would also seem to rule out a problem with AMD video drivers or hardware connections.

Chip Set: Intel Q35
CPU: Intel 2.33 MHz Core 2 Duo.
Memory: 4 Gig
Graphics card: ATI HD 6450 (Supports HDMI 1.4). Latest drivers.
Bluray reader/writer: LG Model WH14NS40, Firmware 1.03 (Latest).
Display: Visio 3D Television, Model M3D421SR 3D
Connection: Strait HDMI to HDMI (No adapters).
OS: Win 7 64 bit, SP1.

If you are sure that your hardware is fine the issue might be with your video drivers. I know you are using the latest but AMD's drivers can be iffy and sometimes a newer driver will break something that worked fine on a previous driver. You might want to do some research to see if that is the case.
