I have been using psp8 for years and years, I am old and familiar with it, not to mention I lost most vision to a stroke a few years ago, so navigation of psp8 is pretty well ingrained in my memory. I recently got a new computer and found I needed to upgrade my psp8 to work on the new system. I just purchased the x6 ultimate, I used psp8 mainly to do graphics for websites i designed, will the x6 work much in the same way to do that, or did I mess up?

Hard to say based on what exactly you are trying to do. The general gist of the program (IMHO) is that X6 has the same "flow" as earlier versions. There will be some new ways of doing things, but folks on this forum can be pretty helpful in figuring that stuff out. Generally though, X6 "should" seem pretty familiar.
Adverts for Corel products when you close PSP don't bother me.

Hi Shyannes
PSPX6 is vastly different in layout to PSP8. However, because you are an experienced PSP user, you shouldn't really have much difficulty if finding your way around. Of course, with all upgrades there are new things added. Perhaps to help you, you may wish to join the Beginners Workshop for PSP. The link is above in a pinned post in here.

Re: Did this old gal mess up?
PSP8 is my main version but I've got X6 too. All of the old stuff is still in there, but you might have to hunt for a few tools and add them manually. Most of the changes are cosmetic. Hopefully the dark interface won't be an issue for you but you can switch to a lighter one. Have you tried installing PSP8 on your new computer? Many people are able to use older versions on the newer versions of Windows. I can't speak from experience though because I'm still using Windows XP.
Using Paint Shop Pro versions 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 16
