I'm still having real issues with 'dumb' icons on my computer. (I have a laptop and a desktop. The laptop is working fine. Both Win 7). No matter what I do I can't get my desktop to show anything other than a dumb icon for .pspimage files. Even in PSPx6 they are 'dumb' icons. I have to click on open/preview to see a thumbnail. Everything was working fine until a week ago. I've change and played with file associations in both Win 7 and PSPx6. Strange thing is that the list of file extensions doesn't even show a psp or pspimage option. Finding a file is a real pain.
Any idea on what happened or how to fix it?

Just to add to my problems I decided to uninstall PSPx6. Win 7 uninstall doesn't even come up with Corel PSPx6!!!! Not there to uninstall!
So I tried to reinstall PSPx6 and get a message that it doesn't need upgradeing. I can start up and use PSPx6.
So it's there but Win 7 says it's not there???????
I think I'll have a valium.

Have you tried this thread on the forum? It links to cleanup tools for several versions of PSP, to remove better than uninstall works.
