Aftershot 1/2 - very odd problem with JPG's

Post by PeterM »

Have searched the net and this forum, but so far no luck.

I have an odd problem when editing JPG's in AfterShot 2. When I slightly touch any of the following sliders, the picture "jumps" to very dark: Exposure, Blacks, Contrast.

I'll attach two screen shot, same image, before and after. Note the "0.00" and "0.01" on the Exposure slider. Also, note what happens to the histogram!

I cannot use AfterShot 2 for JPG's anymore, which is a shame.

Anyone able to help?

Hi,

maybe you try to reduce OpenCL and turn off Local Contrast.

try to reduce OpenCL
Top class, thank you very much! This fixed the problem!

The funny thing is that I had OpenCL enable for ages, but the problem is fairly new.

Do you have any idea what might have caused this?
turn off Local Contrast
As said the problem is solved, but where do I turn Local Contrast on or off?
